Training in traditional Yoga and Tantra in the Hérault

Far from urban studios, the training takes place at Haimavati, a restored former sheepfold in the forest above Mons. The silence of the place, the surrounding nature and a group limited to ten people offer rare conditions for in-depth practice, whether you are a beginner or already teaching.

I was eighteen when MahaPrakasha, the Great Light, turned my perception of reality upside down. Since then, Samadhi has remained my guide, and I am glad to accompany those who are not satisfied with a superficial yoga and long to meet the Absolute.

This is not just another yoga course.

It is an initiatory path for those who wish to:
✔ Go beyond the postures, towards tantric Hatha Yoga as the Nath tradition passes it on, far from Western adaptations.
✔ Make pujas and mantras a true opening to the sacred.
✔ Receive from Shajesh, master of the Ananda Nath, teachings that are very rarely shared in the West.
✔ Travel to India in the third year to be initiated into the lineage, when the time is right.

🚨 THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF:
❌ Your aim is relaxation or a more supple back.
❌ You want a gentle practice with no real commitment.
❌ You think awakening comes from reading, a weekend retreat or a 200-hour express training, even one held in India.
❌ Daily practice, questioning your certainties, silence and stillness put you off.

Haimavati, a place devoted to practice

Haimavati is a home devoted to the spiritual quest and traditional Hatha Yoga, nestled in the forest above Mons, in the Haut-Languedoc. Each training day runs from the first practice of the morning to the meditation at the end of the day, with a shared meal.

If you are coming from afar, you can arrive on Friday evening and sleep on site, so as to begin Saturday calmly rather than after hours on the road.

Nath Sampradaya and Ananda Nath: two living traditions

Yogi Denis teaches traditional Yoga in its entirety: asanas, pranayama, mudras, meditation, tarka, study of the ancient texts and practical application of what they teach.
Shajesh, an Indian master of the Ananda Nath lineage, passes on Tantra Veda through pujas, mantras and the direct experience of the Light.

Shajesh's website presents his lineage and his training programmes in France.

Two teachers, one transmission

The course rests on two complementary presences.

Yogi Denis accompanies the group at every monthly session throughout the three years. He passes on traditional Hatha Yoga in all its aspects and personally follows each student's progress. Having practised for over 40 years, initiated into the Shri Vidya, the Nath Sampradaya and the Ananda Nath by Shajesh, he guides his students from the right posture to deep meditation (Samadhi).

Shajesh, master of the Ananda Nath lineage, comes from India every summer for a 5-day retreat at Haimavati. These intense days are the highlight of the year: the bond between master and disciple is fully lived there, through mantras, pujas and the direct transmission of the Light.

For the rest of the year, Shajesh remains reachable on WhatsApp to answer questions and support everyone's practice, a closeness that is rare for a master of this lineage.
