Who is Yoga for?
Or
Who can practise Yoga?

Everyone can practise Yoga, at any age, without any distinction.

All beings are equal in yoga.

A lack of flexibility, too much nervous tension or an obvious lack of balance is no obstacle at all to practising Yoga. The first aim is to accept who we are, with all our qualities and strengths, but also our weaknesses. Only by becoming aware of our abilities and our limits can we transcend ourselves.

You can start at any age and in almost any physical condition, except in cases of specific medical contraindications or genuinely disabling problems.

I often have pregnant women who want to start Yoga to have an easier birth and a more pleasant time before and after the baby arrives. There are a few contraindications, but, and this is the approach I recommend, it is better to meet a Yoga teacher and see directly with them what is possible, rather than doing nothing.
