There are beings around us of great and beautiful, simple beauty.
If one day you are in the Var, near Roquebrune, go and say a quick hello to Brother Antoine, hermit of the rock of Roquebrune.
He has lived for more than 50 years in his little cave, in his retreat, his Sadhana…
Avoid coming in large numbers, but if you come alone or with 2 or 3 friends you will receive an extraordinary welcome…
Take the time to settle, let your body calm down after the sublime crossing of the Rock of Roquebrune, listen to him speak, look at his eyes sparkling with life, and even a little mischief…
Of course, you will quickly have to forget the « tourist » questions, such as « where do you wash? », « what do you eat? »…
No, try to understand and live the present moment in his company. Soon his vibration, his being, will touch you deeply and a feeling of peace and harmony will fill you; the mass of the rock will also help calm your mind a little more…
If you are a little lucky, he will bring out the musical instrument he brought back from one of his many trips to India and sing you a little song, not as insignificant as it seems. Listen carefully: the wisdom, with a rather sharp edge, is very much there…
Composer, writer, full of the joy of living, his spiritual approach is simple and centred on meditation, the most beautiful thing he found in India.
He often says that this is what our world and Christians lack: meditation…
His is very simple; it revolves around the idea: « Thank you for everything »…
I will long remember the few hours spent in his company in meditation, sometimes late into the night…
Thank you, Brother Antoine, for everything!
Brother Antoine left us on 22 October 2021. After the retirement home in Roquebrune, he was taken in by Mathieu in Dieulefit. A light has gone over to the other side, or returned to the source.
Thank you for everything, Brother Antoine, it was an honour to meet you!
Violence is sadness
Non violence is humour!

As long as the billiard ball
Has not found its cosy hole,
It rightly gets its share
Of the cue's kick in the derrière

The cause of suffering: wanting the ephemeral to be permanent.

Misery is when you cannot smile at poverty.

One whose heart is silent
Can take in tons of decibels
But one who cannot bear
the slightest noise
Has in their mind
An apocalyptic din.

The love of upright hearts...
All that divides does not come from God!
He makes you divine wherever you may be.
If there are churches more worthy of faith,
they are the ones that say all is within you!
Buddha Siddhartha
Leaving all his possessions without losing a hair of Being...
The best of me is the best of you.
Thank you for all these little songs, so powerful and so beautiful!
